One of the more intriguing things to monitor this summer is the shifting dynamics of the college baseball roster.

Many coaches dealt with roster crunches in 2021 due to the shortened MLB Draft in 2020 and the NCAA's decision to grant all spring sport athletes an additional year of eligibility. Now, with the MLB Draft set to expand to 20 rounds next month and more players preparing to explore options beyond baseball now that they're used all of their NCAA eligibility, college coaches find more space to add to their respective rosters.

Through our look at the top New England players in the NCAA Transfer Portal, we got a sense of which college coaches will be looking to replace top-end talent next fall.

In an effort to get an early sense of which New England programs might be the strongest next spring, we rank the incoming class of recruits among New England schools.
