Traverse Briana has put up numbers at Salem State that stack with anyone

Traverse Briana has been a known commodity to Salem State coach Al Donovan for a long time.
Briana’s baseball journey reached a high at an early age as he helped Peabody West Little League advance all the way to the 2009 Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pa., and it continued with National Junior College Athletic Association All-American honors at local powerhouse Northern Essex Community College.
Now entering his third season with the Vikings, little has changed for the Peabody, Mass., native and Lynnfield High School graduate. He can hit with the best of them.
“When things didn’t work out (during a stop at Division 1 UMass Lowell), Trav reached out to me about transferring to Salem State, and we were really excited because I knew what kind of player he was,” Donovan (Lynn, Mass.) said. “He has the best hand-eye coordination I’ve ever seen during my time as a player and a coach at any level.”
