It's not easy to be a journeyman pitcher, especially when you’re just a few years deep into your career. Not that Jack Leathersich is complaining, mind you.
"In my career so far, I’ve been very fortunate to have a lot of success, but it’s been crazy," Leathersich said. "I’ve been in the majors with three different teams and I’m only 27. I feel like that doesn’t happen to many people, bouncing around that much, so definitely I want to solidify myself and my situation at this point."
Leathersich has an opportunity to do just that with the Pittsburgh Pirates this spring.
