The NECBL season has just passed the two-week mark, offering plenty of time for college prospects to showcase themselves in one of the nation’s top summer collegiate leagues right within our region’s borders.
The Vermont Mountaineers and Bristol Blues have jumped ahead of the pack as the league’s top two teams, each compiling double-digit wins. No other team has more than seven entering Thursday’s action.
With just a single loss on its record, Vermont has opened a 5 ½ game lead atop the North Division.
