A busy slate of New England summer collegiate baseball is well underway within the Futures League.
The league's regular season began three weeks ago on May 26, meaning that plenty of time has passed and the majority of team rosters have come together for the summer. Thus, stars from all three NCAA levels are starting to emerge.
The Vermont Lake Monsters are the defending FCBL champions and have ascended to the top of the standings again after recently completing a 13-game win streak.
Our first Futures League watch list of the summer contains representatives from all eight teams, some of the stars from the opening weeks of play.
