The last of New England’s three summer collegiate postseasons kicks off Tuesday with the Futures League.
After a regular-season title race that came down to the final day, the Norwich Sea Unicorns clinched the No. 1 seed and will make their first-ever playoff appearance. Elsewhere, the Vermont Lake Monsters and Worcester Bravehearts look to return to the Futures League winner’s circle, while the New Britain Bees aim for their first championship.
Best-of-three semifinal action begins Tuesday, with the Connecticut rivals Norwich and New Britain facing off, and Vermont hosting Worcester. The semifinal winners will play in a best-of-three title series.
