A handful of New England's top high school prospects recently competed in the Summer Rivalry Classic, which also included a host of the area's top college prospects heading into the 2021 MLB Draft.

The next day, the same scouts who organized the Summer Rivalry Classic -- Yankees Regional Director Matt Hyde and Red Sox Regional Director Ray Fagnant -- invited an elite group of '21 and '22 high school graduates to participate in a Prospects Showcase event at Dunkin' Donuts Park in Hartford, Conn.

The event also included top '21 and '22 high school graduates from New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Phillips Andover infielder Jack Penney ('21), Suffield Academy outfielder Carlos Pena ('21) and Dexter Southfield infielder Ivan Arias ('22) also appeared in the Prospects Showcase a day after appearing in the Summer Rivalry Classic.

Here is a breakdown of the other New England players who participated in the Prospects Showcase.
