New England’s 2022 MLB Draft class took a bit of a hit last fall when the undisputed top prospect in the region – UConn pitcher Reggie Crawford – suffered an injury that will sideline him for the 2022 season.
Now that the dust has settled on that injury, and Crawford has undergone Tommy John surgery, it’s looking like the two-way UConn prospect may still earn a selection in the first round, and a handful of other New Englanders may follow close behind.
