The High School Class of 2023 has been difficult to evaluate in the last year due to the fact that these student-athletes had their freshman seasons wiped away due to the pandemic. However, many of the Class of 2023 standouts played travel ball or Legion over the summer, so the cream still managed to rise to the top.
As we look ahead to what will hopefully be a generous slate of high school and prep school games this spring, we set the table for the Class of 2023 with a preseason look at the top high school prospects.
New England Baseball Journal recently published the top 20 prospects in the Class of 2022. Next week, we will return with the top 20 prospects in the Class of 2024.
