
The Perfect Game WWBA World Championship events will continue this week with the Underclass World Championship in Fort Myers, Fla.
The premier fall showcase event for high school players in the Class of 2025 will run through Oct. 2, when a champion will be crowned from the pool of 211 teams.
The tournament will include several New England-based teams, including The Clubhouse (Fairfield, Conn.), Baseball U CT (Fairfield, Conn.), Connecticut Dawgs (Milford, Conn.), Expos Baseball (Beverly, Mass.), MVP New England (East Hartford, Conn.), North East Baseball (Harvard, Mass.), Team Boston Academy (Reading, Mass.), and US9 Prospects (Cheshire, Conn.). There is also a Red Sox Scout Team, called The Alliance, which pools players from the Nor'Easter Runbirds, Show New England, Seacoast Pirates, Bay Sox, and New Hampshire Prospects.
