Yale ace Scott Politz has golden chance with Falmouth Commodores

Growing up in Austin, Texas, Scott Politz was unfamiliar with the Cape Cod Baseball League.

Following up a stellar spring that ended in Yale’s first NCAA tournament appearance since 1992, the two-time All-Ivy League selection sure learned fast as a member of the Falmouth Commodores.

"I didn’t know much, but I just had the impression that it was the country’s best players collected here, all the guys that the scouts knew," Politz said. "I basically felt that everyone in the country wanted to be in the league, so it was a dream come true when I found out I was coming here."
