The baseball spotlight was shining brightly on the Nutmeg State last season, culminating in East Catholic’s Frank Mozzicato being drafted seventh overall by the Kansas City Royals in the MLB Draft.
Expect the same exciting action with high-level talent looking to put their teams over in a landscape that is very crowded with contenders.
Norwalk enters as the reigning Class LL champions with 13 players having departed the program. Head coach Ryan Mitchell believes “speed and putting the ball in play” are his team’s strengths entering the season. “Throw strikes, make the routine plays, be creative and opportunistic on offense.”
Kostaki Kodonas, Philip Nora, and Eddy Garabito-Soto will serve as the Norwalk captains this season.
