NEBJ Preseason Prep Top 10: Andover the class, but not unchallenged

The prep school baseball season is nearly upon us. Due to the lack of snow this past winter, a majority of programs will actually open the season on time. With a number of schools having just returned from preseason southern trips, or are still out on break, the real season, if all goes well, should start up within the next couple of weeks.

New England Baseball Journal polled prep school coaches throughout New England to get their opinions on a preseason Top 10 team list.

Without question, ISL, CNEPSBL, WNEPBL, Founders League and Lakes Region League teams continue to demonstrate a high-level of performance, skill and competition, making it one of the best regions for prep school baseball in the United States. In addition, many of the players from these programs will be moving on to play at elite colleges and universities, as well as be considered for the MLB Draft.
