Hayden Miller and Jake Brink were hot commodities from a recruiting standpoint during their junior seasons. With one final season remaining in their Crimson Knight careers come spring, both will remain together as future teammates at College of Charleston next year.
Miller, a middle infielder/catcher, has been at Salisbury for three years. Brink, a right-handed pitcher/outfielder, arrived on the Salisbury campus a year ago, transferring over from Francis Lewis High School in Queens, N.Y.
The path to Salisbury for the two of them was similar by comparison.
"The athletic piece of Salisbury has been a huge advantage, as you are surrounded by athletes who all have a goal of playing in college and hopefully at the professional level," Miller said. "Everyone pushes each other to show their max potential on the field.''
