Mark and James Henshon started their respective journeys at Roxbury Latin as middle-schoolers. Older sibling Mark, now a senior, came to the elite private school as an eighth-grader, moving over from Wellesley Middle School. Sophomore James transferred in as a repeat seventh-grader from the same school.
Mark is a three-sport athlete, competing in cross-country, basketball and baseball. While he was a team captain in both basketball and baseball, he made the baseball diamond his top priority as he prepared to play at Brown University next season. James is also a member of the Foxes' basketball and baseball teams.
"I wanted to go to a smaller school because of the care and individual attention that the teachers could show me,'' James said. "I knew, given the culture, I could not only play basketball and baseball, but also take part in other activities as well.''
Mark, a middle infielder, also plays for the New England Ruffnecks during the summer months. James, standing 6-1, 160 pounds, is also a middle infielder and a member of the Ruffnecks.
