New England has more schools playing Division 3 baseball than any region in the country.
It's home to some of the nation’s most historic programs — former national champions Southern Maine, Eastern Connecticut State, and Trinity, to name a few. Thus, much of the region’s talent at this level can stay inside the borders of the six states we call home.
However, the journey to college took some elsewhere.
