The winter baseball development model in New England is an area that has changed so much in recent years. I want to share my perspective on the juggling act all of us must master in prioritizing what really matters.
Like a few of my peers in New England, I serve many roles in my baseball community:
Travel baseball parent
Travel baseball coach
Travel baseball program director
Facility owner
I see first-hand that the motivations of these roles have conflicting incentives. That places more responsibility in the hands of the parents.
