How to integrate mental skills into your camp experience

Camp season is fast approaching, which is a great time of year to have the pressures of a competitive season off your shoulders.

Summer is a good time to work on refining your baseball skills. While most camps will provide coaching to develop your physical and strategic skills, such as pitching, hitting and fielding, you can benefit from direct attention to the mental side of the game as well.

While you may not get a lot of direction from your coaches in this regard, camps can be a great time to work on your mental game.

Let’s explore some ways in which you can integrate mental skills training into your camps to optimize your growth over the summer. Here are three simple steps to enter the laboratory of your mind to learn how to be your own mental coach and make the most of your summer training:
